Fisoye Akinyemi is Geologist for an oil and gas company in Nigeria with nearly 17 years’ experience. He is also an officer, Third Officer, in Merchant Navy Directorate (MND), at 64C Marine Road Apapa Lagos.

Akinyemi Fisoye was born in Osogbo, Nigeria on the 12th of June 1979. Had his secondary school education in School of Science Oyo (SOSO). He attended Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) and graduated with BTech Applied Geophysics. He was a trainee Seismologist with United Geophysical Nigeria Limited/ Integrated Data Services Limited Joint Venture (UGNL / IDSL JV 165 Port Harcourt Nigeria). He was also a trainee Research Geophysicist with Shell Petroleum Development Company (DTW-ITP, Warrior Nigeria).

And previously worked as Network Support Engineer for IP Orbit (Adesemi Nig. Ltd, Port Harcourt, Nigeria). Also worked as a Geophysicist at the Research and Development Division of Petroleum Engineering and Research Services (PERS - R & D, Port Harcourt Nigeria) for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company for about two years before moving to Lagos in 2007 from Port Harcourt Nigeria.

He has traveled across Nigeria, Africa, Europe and America.
